Dignity Bed has a patented built-in electronic dry toilet system wherein the human waste is contained in a sealed waste bag. The product enables elderly and impaired people to attend the toilet without the need of having to get up out of their bed and walk to the WC; or be seated in a wheelchair to be wheeled to the WC; or use a conventional commode.

Dignity Bed enhances quality of life, independence, privacy and dignity. It can be operated by the patient independently, or if required by the patient's carer who can be a family member, a friend, or a professional carer. All functions are electronically controlled via the hand-set.

Dignity Bed significantly reduces carer needs and costs as it enables elderly and impaired people to remain living longer in their own homes. In the UK Residential Care can cost from £500 to over £2,000 per week, depending on the location and on the standard of services provided. The true fact is “the best care home is your own home”.

Although Dignity Bed is specifically designed for use in private households, the product is both certified and suitable for use in residential care homes, nursing homes and hospices. We welcome enquires from all such organisations.
